When installing an instance through FRAM, your application server will be configured to use additional JVM args required by FusionReactor.
This involves creating a new instance directory, stopping your application server, configuring the application server and then finally restarting the application server.
If at any point during the installation something fails you will be delivered a generic error message.
When you see this message you should ensure the following:
The user running FRAM has permission to start and stop the application server
The user running FRAM has permission to modify the application server directory
FusionReactor will allow 30 seconds to restart an instance before timing out. If your application server takes longer than 30 seconds to restart, try refreshing the page after a minute and see if it is now running.
